Brandenburg promote diversity
It’s all about people. They make Brandenburg what it is, and have been doing so for centuries. Their ancestors came from France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and from Middle and Eastern Europe, they are Sorbs and Wends. Brandenburg is international and diverse.
Internationality is the basis for exchange, innovation and growth. We welcome people coming to work, study, and live here. At the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt for example, present on both sides of the Oder river in Brandenburg and in Poland. Or at the Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus Senftenberg, where a third of students come from other countries. 100 different nations learn, research and live together here. Companies in Brandenburg also greatly benefit from this diversity.
Via the International Talent Service, the Economic Development Agency Brandenburg supports companies with recruiting graduates and integrating international skilled workers from non-EU countries coming to Brandenburg to work.
