Excellent innovations driving your success

Companies in the German Capital Region benefit from the high-performing knowledge and technology transfer with research institutes. Many innovations, products and services are already on the market. This is how technology transfer makes a long-term contribution to the success of Brandenburg companies.

ALWAYS ONE STEP AHEAD OF TRAFFIC JAMS

Successful cooperation with the Hasso Plattner Institute, Potsdam

We understand the problem, we have the solution, and we want you to benefit from it – the company Synfioo is a spin off from an EU-funded research project on green logistics in cooperation with the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam.

It’s no accident that their name calls a symphony orchestra to mind. Anyone who wants to really direct logistics must have the qualities of a good conductor. The Synfioo platform harmonises complex transport processes and ensures smooth workflows within supply chains. There are no traffic jams that Synfioo doesn’t see in advance:

DiGOS: A spin-off from the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam

Some ideas are so good that they make it to the winner’s podium. The satellite laser ranging from DiGOS GmbH is one of these. Founded as a spin-off from GFZ Potsdam, the company received the Berlin-Brandenburg Innovation Award in 2019.

DiGOS is a systems integrator in the field of geodetics. While their top priority is developing and supplying ready-to-use, flexible satellite laser ranging stations, they are also working on future autonomous stations for satellite laser communication.

LIGHTWEIGHT – BUT ONLY IN DESIGN!

A joint project between BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and several companies

The idea is for polymer-based lightweight construction to make companies’ lives easier: A new, modular, lightweight device container system is set to bring significant transport advantages. The project’s goal is to protect sensitive equipment in buses and trains such as air conditioning units, gas tanks or batteries in the event of an accident or hazardous rock falls.
